English Eyebrow Corkscrew Birmingham, Cast body marked C.T. Willetts LTD. 20th century circa 1910 to 1930
A classic English eyebrow corkscrew with solid crossbody (T-handle), manufactured by C.T. Willets Ltd of Birmingham. The corkscrew is clearly stamped “C.T. WILLETS LTD” on the main frame, with the mark remaining sharp and fully legible.
Birmingham, early 20th century (c. 1910–1930)
The forged eyebrow handle provides excellent grip and leverage and is fitted with a traditional single-helix steel worm with tapered point. The form is robust, well balanced, and typical of quality British domestic corkscrews of the early 20th century.
Originally nickel-plated, the corkscrew now shows an even, honest patina. It is in excellent condition, with no repairs or distortions and a complete, straight worm.
