A substantial copper-alloy neck torque attributed to the Fang cultural region of Gabon and neighbouring Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. Its deeply curved C-form, broad terminals and considerable weight identify it as a prestige neck ornament rather than a bracelet or anklet.

The torque was solid cast and carefully finished, with two pronounced ribs following its outer curve. Surface wear, dark accretions and localised green oxidation are consistent with age and handling. Its sculptural form, exceptional weight and established collection history give it particular ethnographic and collector interest.
