A powerful and sculptural cast bronze currency bracelet from the Lake Chad Basin (Chad/Cameroon region), Central Africa, attributed to the Kotoko people within the Sao tradition. Produced using the lost-wax casting method, the bracelet features geometric banding and a stylized anthropomorphic head terminal, with a deep, aged patina consistent with historic use.
