Hasselbring Patent Corkscrew, Sterling & Horn, USA, c.1906
Pickup currently not available
American John Hasselbring patent corkscrew, marked PAT.1906 and STERLING 107, with a removable screw and ring-form Baltimore Loop Seal opener. The construction combines a polished horn handle with a sterling silver collar and mounted metal opener, designed as a compact hand-operated corkscrew and seal remover.
Good age-appropriate collector condition, with surface wear, small dents and scratches to the sterling mount, rubbing to the metalwork and natural variation in the horn. The worm appears straight and serviceable with a usable point; the detachable section fits as intended. Mechanically functional today. Circa 1906. Provenance: Thomas Guenther Collection, Netherlands.
