Attributed to the Dogon of Mali’s Bandiagara Escarpment, this lost wax cast copper alloy armlet features wax formed openwork and a raised boss with concentric incisions. Light and breathable at 98 grams, it was likely worn daily as a marker of identity and protection. Dimensions: outer diameter 84.5 mm; inner diameter 30.1 mm. height 30.8mm
