Pickup currently not available
A Lorch / Lorch Schmidt “Triumph” watchmakers lathe, representing the German Geneva-pattern precision lathe used in horological workshops around the turn of the 20th century.
The lathe is constructed with a cylindrical bed supporting separate headstock and tailstock, with T-rest and accessory fittings. It is designed for fine operations including turning, pivot work, drilling and finishing, using interchangeable collets and external drive via bow, belt or pulley system.
The Triumph model sits within Lorch’s lighter, practical range of Geneva-pattern lathes intended for precise bench work.
The lathe is accompanied by a group of associated accessories including collets, chucks and fittings, housed within a wooden case bearing the Triumph label and plaque marked “The Triumph Lathe / Warranted Genuine”.
Please note - The set is not complete and is presented as received, with components arranged within the case but not fitted to original positions. The slot for the headstock does not align with the matching slot for the centre shaft.
