A copper-alloy three-bell anklet attributed to the Dan cultural sphere of western Côte d’Ivoire, close to the Liberian border. The open circular band carries three integral hollow sounding bells and terminates in inward-curled ends. Comparable Dan bell anklets are documented in museum and specialist collections, with the number and scale of bells associated in published accounts with aspects of the wearer's status.

Individually produced by the lost-wax casting process, the anklet has regularly incised linear ornament along the principal face and stippled surface treatment to the bells and body. The three hollow bells retain their internal sounding elements and remain functional. Surface wear and developed patination are consistent with age and use. Its compact proportions, accomplished casting and documented Egon Guenther provenance make it a particularly strong collector example.
