This collection comprises six small and miniature folding bow corkscrews representing a classic mechanical folding form that remained popular from the late Victorian period into the early twentieth century. Each example employs the folding bow mechanism, whereby the worm pivots from within the wire-formed frame to provide a compact pocket-sized cork extraction tool. The group includes faceted examples, miniature variants, a glove-button hook example, and a marked specimen bearing the initials "AH".

The collection displays honest age-related wear consistent with use and storage. Surface finishes range from bright plated examples to naturally aged steel with oxidation and patination. Worms remain generally straight and well formed, hinges appear intact, and the examples retain good display and study value.
