French Champagne Mercier advertising folding pocket corkscrew of multi-tool form, incorporating a wire-formed corkscrew worm, folding knife blade and shaped bottle-opening tool within decorated metal handle scales. Both faces carry Champagne Mercier advertising, while the blade area is marked VERITABLE SAUZEDE. This compact format belongs to the established French tradition of advertising pocket knives incorporating corkscrews and ancillary bottle tools; comparable Mercier corkscrew/knife examples are documented in specialist and auction sources.

The example shows age-related surface wear, oxidation, scratching and discolouration consistent with use and age. The principal components appear complete and articulate as intended; the worm retains its form and point. Suitable primarily as a collector's example, with careful occasional operation rather than regular functional use recommended.
