An antique folding bow corkscrew multitool, complete with eight integrated implements, housed within a faceted forged steel bow frame. This compact and utilitarian design reflects late 19th-century European workmanship, prioritising durability, portability, and functional efficiency over ornamentation.

The forged steel bow frame folds neatly over the tool stack, protecting the implements when closed and providing a rigid grip when in use. Faceted edges and hand-shaped curves indicate traditional manufacture, while the integrated riveted construction creates a strong, self-contained unit without separate handle scales.

All eight tools are present and functional, including the corkscrew worm and accompanying cutting, piercing, and utility implements typically associated with traveller’s and picnic multitools of this period. The piece remains in good working order throughout.

Original nickel plating is present, with wear consistent with age and use, revealing the underlying steel in high-contact areas. This honest surface wear contributes to the authenticity and character of the piece and has not been cleaned or replated.

Unmarked examples of this type are commonly attributed to European manufacture, circa late 19th to early 20th century, and are increasingly scarce to find complete and in sound condition.

A well-preserved and highly practical example, suitable for the serious corkscrew or antique tool collector.
