A compact and powerfully sculpted Tsonga (Tsonga–Shangaan) wooden stool from Mozambique / northeastern South Africa, carved from a single block with a thick circular seat and base joined by a pierced geometric support featuring intersecting diamond motifs; the surface displays a deep, dark patina with extensive signs of age and use, consistent with long ceremonial and domestic function.
