The oval ring is lost-wax cast with raised ribbed bands, panelled terminals and worn geometric detailing. Objects of this type functioned as personal adornment, prestige metalwork and traditional exchange currency. Comparable Frafra\/Gurunsi and Lobi-area cast brass or bronze anklets are recorded from Ghana and Burkina Faso. \u003cspan class=\"\" data-state=\"closed\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"754\" data-end=\"1153\"\u003eCondition is good and age-appropriate, with visible handling wear, softened high points, oxidised recesses and an uneven brass\/bronze patina.
